Detached stone and slate farmhouse property(130 sqm), lies in the countryside in a peaceful setting, with a garden area of 3 000 sqm. 2 barns on either side of the house. The property is structurally sound but will need a full renovation for the inside, no septic tank, water and electricity but re-wiring and new plumbing needed. There are neighbours quite close in front of the house, about 20 meters away. It's a long time since the property was lived in, at least 20 years. There is no drainage system so a septic tank would need to be installed and although there is a mains water connection in the garden this needs to be brought into the house. It is a complete renovation and at some point the building has moved leaving large cracks in the corners of most of the rooms. The house is a full renovation including installing a septic tank and although the property is connected to water the connection only goes as far as the garden, it will need to be brought into the house (electricity is connected). There are cracks in the corners of the walls going all the way up, the owner believes that they are not getting any worse and it just needs some wall ties put in but unless you are a builder I would suggest that you take independent advice about this. I went with an English builder and he told me that you may need to dig all around the property in order to see if you need to consolidate the house all around.
