"Detached stone and slate renovated barn conversion(210 sqm), situated in a village in a peaceful setting, in the area of La Souterraine, with a land area of 2.03 acres(8 248 sqm) which is constructible. Heating : electric(also used to heat the water) and wood. Double glazing. Electrics and plumbing area new. 2 garden sheds. A further advantage for anyone looking to live and work in France is that the land with the property is constructible and the current owners already have architect plans for the construction of two gites and a garage and workshop behind the house. The original architect plans were for four bedrooms to the first floor and although the current owners preferred the option of two large bedrooms and bathrooms, the size of the property would allow the creation of further bedrooms if required. The septic tank itself will need to be replaced. A brand new sanitation system was installed at the property by a professional company in 2010, but the up to date report confirms that the septic tank itself is now damaged although they are not sure how this has happened.
